The expiry date in the SMETS1 Transition and Migration Approach Document (TMAD) is currently 31 March 2024. On 2 November 2023, DCC issued a consultation titled ‘SMETS1 Consultation – TMAD Expiry Date 2024’. This consultation proposed that the existing expiry date in the TMAD is changed to 31 December 2024.
On 15 December 2023, DCC submitted the conclusion report to the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero for consideration by the Secretary of State.
