    At the DCC our primary priority is operating a stable, reliable and secure smart meter network with a coverage level that enables our customers to meet their roll-out targets across Great Britain.

    Smart meters, and the network we operate, play a key role in the digitisation of our energy system, connecting consumers and energy suppliers to their data.

    In recent years, we have implemented several programmes which have added to the functionality of the smart metering network, such as Dual Band Communications Hubs, and further enhancement programmes will continue in the coming years.
