DCC is proposing to add device alert 8F12 to the exclusion list due to an existing problem with certain PPMID and Comms Hub combinations which generate 8F12 alerts every minute and could trigger Alert Storm protection. If the Alert Storm protection is triggered, this could have a detrimental impact on the Installation and Commission process and Comms Hub Replacement process. The proposal is designed to mitigate this risk.
