The Central Registration Service (CRS) Improvement Plan is a collaborative plan, covering multiple workstreams, developed by RECCo and DCC to resolve a number of issues highlighted during Ofgem’s consultation. The underlying objective of the plans are to deliver improvements that will benefit industry and ultimately end consumers.
The Address Data Quality Workstream is focusing on the Address Management Service which underpins the creation of an accurate Retail Energy Location (REL) record required for Switching. After 3 years of Faster Switching under the REC significant improvements have been made in Address Quality but we still face challenges matching the current 2.8 million unmatched REL volume.
We’d like REC Parties involved in the Address Data Lifecycle to join us on the 13th of November in a F2F Workshop focussing on Parties experiences of address data quality, particularly Unmatched REL Addresses.
