In November 2016 DCC issued a consultation on its draft Initial Enrolment Project Feasibility Report (IEPFR) in accordance with Section N4.5 of the SEC.
The document sets out DCC's analysis regarding the options for the enrolment of SMETS1 meters into DCC infrastructure. The consultation closed on 20 January 2017, and since that time DCC has been analysing consultation responses and updating the draft IEPFR.
To further inform DCC's understanding of stakeholder responses to the consultation, DCC convened three stakeholder workshops in March 2017, focussing on particular elements of a future DCC Service, which were open to all SEC Parties. However, to ensure that all interested parties, including those who were unable to attend the workshops, have the opportunity to assess workshop contents and outputs in full, DCC is providing IEPFR consultation respondents the opportunity to update their written responses in light of these workshops, should they so wish.
DCC requests that consultation responses are provided, wherever possible, as tracked changes to initial consultation submissions. DCC will consider updates submitted to email@example.com up to close of business on Friday 7th April 2017.
Workshop outputs and any updates submitted during this time will be used to inform DCC's final Initial Enrolment Project Feasibility Report (IEPFR) to BEIS in addition to the responses received to the IEPFR consultation.
Workshop outputs are on the DCC website here
