Business Continuity Disaster Recovery (BCDR) Procedures help to ensure Services can continue to be provided with as little disruption as possible for DCC customers and consumers in the event of unexpected outages. BCDR Tests help to validate that these procedures enable Services to continue to function or be effectively recovered in the event of a disaster or unforeseen outage.
In November 2025 we consulted on proposed BCDR Test dates between April 2026 and March 2027.
This is our conclusion to that consultation and our notice of BCDR Test dates.
Note that this version 1.1 replaces the previously notified testing schedule. In our original conclusion we committed to moving two service impacting test dates to avoid congestion in April and can now confirm those test dates. Feedback from SEC Operations Sub-Committee in January asked us to consider the timing of a test originally scheduled for a Thursday which has now been moved to the following weekend.
BCDR Tests have been organised into the following categories:
a) Non-Service Impacting BCDR Tests outside of DCC Live Systems
b) Non-Service Impacting DCC Live System BCDR Tests
c) Service Impacting DCC Live System BCDR Tests
