On 30 June 2026, DCC published a consultation on proposed amendments to the WANSA. These changes intended to provide greater clarity on the parameters used by VWCHs in order to determine the WAN communications route to connect to the DCC. This consultation closed on 27 July 2026.
This document summarises the responses received to this consultation and DCC’s response to these. The updates to the WANSA will be submitted to the Secretary of State for approval.
