DCC Business Strategy & Technology Roadmap (BSTR) Workshops

Under the DCC2 Licence, DCC is required to produce a Business Strategy & Technology Roadmap (BSTR), which sets out the long‑term strategic approach for DCC2’s network and systems.

What it does

  • Establishes DCC’S long-term strategy, design principles and technology direction
  • Acts as the strategic anchor for the future plans, investment and delivery decisions
  • Provides clear traceability from licence requirements to outcomes and cost

Why it matters and why get involved

  • Shapes the next two ex-ante cycles and longer-term network evolution
  • Enables early alignment with the industry and regulator on strategic direction
  • Reduces risk of late challenge by front-loading engagement and consultation
