DSP conclusions on removing the Cloud 10Mbps option for DCC Connect

On 29 September 2026, DCC published a consultation proposing changes to SEC Appendix AU ‘Network Evolution Transition and Migration Approach Document’ (NETMAD) to remove the option for DCC Gateway Parties to be able to order a 10Mbps DCC Gateway HV Cloud Connection. This followed the wider withdrawal of this bandwidth option by DCC’s cloud providers.

This consultation closed on Friday 30 October 2026.

This document summarises the responses received to this consultation and DCC's response to these. The updates to Annex 4 of the NETMAD will be submitted to the Secretary of State for approval and incorporation into the SEC.
