Design Forums

This page brings together our design forums which have run since October 2013.

They are led by DCC design assurance leads alongside relevant Service Provider experts. All SEC Parties and their nominated associates are invited to attend.

The purpose of the forums is to work with stakeholders to develop the design of the DCC systems and processes.

Some forums are no longer actively meeting as their work has reached completion. For the purposes of completeness, however, details of all forums can be found on this page.

If you would like to be included in an active design forum, please contact us at contact@smartdcc.co.uk for further details.

Forums

The Design Release Forum is led by the DCC Design Assurance team alongside relevant Service Provider experts. All SEC Parties and their nominated associates are invited to attend.

The purpose of the forums is to work with stakeholders to develop the design of the DCC systems and processes (excluding the SMETS1 program which is currently under the governance of the TBDG subgroup). This Design Release Forum provides transparency at a design/technical level, taking forward customer engagement on developing a design that was previously facilitated via multiple design forums.

The following documents are actively reviewed with customers via the Design Release Forum for any pending draft changes:
